Curtis Curling Center, Wilmette, IL 1967-early 1980's, former home of Wilmette Curling Club Darwin Curtis was an avid promoter of curling in the Chicago area from at least the 1940's until his death in the 1980's.  He still promotes curling today through grants from the Darwin Curtis Fund, part of the Chicago Community Trust
